Dental Problem

CAD/CAM Solution

M anufacturing

Though once a novelty for dental practice, the emergence of new technologies and techniques has allowed the fabrication of high quality all-ceramic crowns, veneers, inlays and onlays to be fabricated on-site by your dentist.

Basically, an image of the tooth in need of repair is taken, computer software is used to correct the situation, and the restoration is milled from a block of solid porcelain. Akin to glazing pottery, the restoration is then stained and glazed to strengthen and beautify. The porcelain restoration is then bonded into place to help the patient achieve the beautiful smile they desire, often times without molds, temporaries or a second visit!
